Erzya
Erzya is a Finno-Ugric language spoken primarily by the Erzya people, an ethnic group in Russia. It is one of the two official languages of the Mordovia Republic, alongside Moksha. Erzya has its own unique alphabet, which is based on the Cyrillic script, and is used in education and media within the Erzya-speaking community.
The Erzya language is part of the larger Uralic language family, which also includes languages like Finnish and Hungarian. Efforts are being made to preserve and promote Erzya through cultural programs, literature, and language courses, as the number of speakers has been declining in recent years.
