Eric Yuan
Eric Yuan is a Chinese-American entrepreneur and the founder of Zoom Video Communications, a popular video conferencing platform. Born in 1970 in Tianjin, China, he studied engineering at Shandong University before moving to the United States in 1997. Yuan worked at WebEx, a web conferencing company, which was later acquired by Cisco.
In 2011, Yuan launched Zoom, aiming to create a user-friendly video communication tool. Under his leadership, Zoom gained immense popularity, especially during the COVID-19 pandemic, as remote work and virtual meetings became essential. Yuan's vision and innovation have made him a prominent figure in the tech industry.
