Eric Drexler
Eric Drexler is an American engineer and nanotechnology pioneer, best known for his work in molecular nanotechnology. He popularized the concept of nanobots, tiny machines that can manipulate matter at the molecular level, through his influential book, "Engines of Creation," published in 1986. Drexler's ideas have inspired research and discussions about the potential applications and implications of nanotechnology.
In addition to his writing, Drexler co-founded the Foresight Institute, an organization dedicated to promoting the responsible development of nanotechnology. He has also served as a professor at Singularity University, where he teaches about the future of technology and its impact on society.
