Environmental, Social, and Governance
Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) refers to a set of criteria used to evaluate a company's operations and impact. The Environmental aspect focuses on how a company manages its ecological footprint, including issues like climate change, waste management, and resource conservation.
The Social component examines a company's relationships with employees, suppliers, customers, and communities, addressing factors such as diversity, labor practices, and community engagement. Lastly, the Governance aspect looks at a company's leadership, ethics, and shareholder rights, ensuring transparency and accountability in decision-making processes.
