English settlers
English settlers were individuals from England who migrated to various parts of the world, particularly to North America, during the 17th and 18th centuries. They sought new opportunities, land, and a chance for a better life. Many were motivated by economic hardship, religious freedom, or the desire to expand the British Empire.
These settlers established colonies, such as Jamestown in 1607 and Plymouth in 1620, which became the foundation for what would later become the United States. They interacted with Indigenous peoples, faced challenges like harsh weather and food shortages, and contributed to the cultural and social development of the regions they inhabited.
