Emergency Rooms
An Emergency Room (ER) is a specialized area in a hospital designed to provide immediate medical care for urgent health issues. Patients visit the ER for various reasons, including severe injuries, sudden illnesses, or life-threatening conditions. Medical professionals, such as doctors and nurses, are available 24/7 to assess and treat these emergencies.
In the ER, patients are prioritized based on the severity of their condition, a process known as triage. Common treatments may include administering medications, performing diagnostic tests, or conducting surgeries. The goal of the ER is to stabilize patients and determine if further treatment is needed in the hospital.
