Embassies and Consulates
Embassies and consulates are official diplomatic missions representing a country in another nation. An embassy is typically located in the capital city and serves as the main office for diplomatic relations, handling political, economic, and cultural issues. It is headed by an ambassador, who acts as the official representative of their home country.
In contrast, a consulate is usually found in major cities outside the capital and focuses on assisting citizens, issuing visas, and promoting trade. Consulates are led by a consul, who provides support to travelers and residents from their home country, ensuring their needs are met while abroad.
