Elmer Iseler was a prominent Canadian conductor and music educator, known for his significant contributions to choral music. Born on November 13, 1927, in Toronto, he founded the Elmer Iseler Singers in 1979, a professional choir that gained recognition for its performances and recordings. Iseler was also a professor at York University and served as the conductor of the Toronto Mendelssohn Choir.
