Eliyahu
Eliyahu, often spelled as Elijah, is a significant figure in several religious traditions, including Judaism, Christianity, and Islam. In the Hebrew Bible, he is known as a prophet who defended the worship of the God of Israel against the worship of Baal. Eliyahu is celebrated for his miraculous deeds, such as bringing fire from heaven and raising the dead.
In Judaism, Eliyahu is associated with the coming of the Messiah and is traditionally believed to return to Earth to herald this event. During the Passover Seder, a cup of wine is set aside for him, symbolizing hope for redemption. His story emphasizes themes of faith, courage, and divine intervention.
