Elephant Communication
Elephants are known for their complex communication skills, which include vocalizations, body language, and even infrasound—low-frequency sounds that can travel long distances. They use trumpets, rumbles, and growls to convey different messages, such as alerting others to danger or signaling their location.
In addition to vocal sounds, elephants communicate through physical gestures, like flapping their ears or using their trunks to touch one another. This combination of vocal and physical signals helps maintain social bonds within their herds and coordinate activities, such as foraging and migration.
