Electroshock Weapon
An electroshock weapon is a device designed to incapacitate a person by delivering a high-voltage electric shock. These weapons, often referred to as stun guns or Tasers, are used by law enforcement and security personnel to subdue individuals without causing permanent harm. The electric shock disrupts voluntary muscle control, causing temporary immobilization.
Typically, electroshock weapons work by firing two small darts connected to the device by wires, which deliver the electric current upon contact. They are considered non-lethal alternatives to firearms, aiming to reduce fatalities during confrontations. However, their use has raised concerns regarding safety and potential misuse.
