Electoral Commission of Sierra Leone
The Electoral Commission of Sierra Leone (ECSL) is an independent body responsible for overseeing elections in Sierra Leone. Established in 2001, its primary role is to ensure free, fair, and transparent electoral processes, including the management of voter registration and the conduct of national elections.
The ECSL is tasked with organizing presidential, parliamentary, and local council elections. It also works to educate the public about the electoral process and promote civic engagement.
