Eisbären
Eisbären, or polar bears, are large carnivorous mammals found primarily in the Arctic regions. They are well adapted to cold environments, with thick fur and a layer of blubber that insulates them from freezing temperatures. Eisbären primarily hunt seals, which they catch by waiting near breathing holes in the ice.
These bears are excellent swimmers and can cover long distances in the water. Eisbären are classified as vulnerable due to climate change, which is causing the loss of their sea ice habitat. Conservation efforts are underway to protect their populations and the Arctic ecosystem they depend on.
