Egyptian Education System
The Egyptian education system consists of several stages, starting with kindergarten for children aged 4 to 6. This is followed by primary education, which lasts for six years, and secondary education, which is divided into two tracks: general and technical. Education is compulsory for children until the age of 15.
Higher education in Egypt includes universities and technical institutes, with the University of Cairo being one of the most prominent. The system emphasizes both academic and vocational training, aiming to prepare students for the workforce. However, challenges such as overcrowded classrooms and varying quality of education persist.
