Edward Poynter
Edward Poynter was a prominent British painter born on March 20, 1836, in Paris, France. He is best known for his historical and genre paintings, which often depicted scenes from literature and history. Poynter studied at the Royal Academy Schools in London and became a leading figure in the Victorian art scene.
