Edward Eager
Edward Eager was an American author best known for his children's fantasy novels. Born on March 2, 1911, in New York City, he grew up with a love for storytelling and adventure. Eager's most famous work, Half Magic, was published in 1954 and features a group of children who discover a magical coin that grants wishes.
Eager's writing often draws inspiration from classic fairy tales and the works of other authors, such as E. Nesbit. He wrote several other books, including Magic by the Lake and The Well-Wishers, which continue to enchant young readers with themes of friendship and imagination. Eager passed away on December 6, 1964.
