Edain
Edain refers to a group of humans in J.R.R. Tolkien's legendarium, particularly in The Silmarillion. They are known for their kindness and bravery, standing in contrast to other races in Middle-earth. The Edain played a crucial role in the history of the First Age, forming alliances with the Elves and fighting against the dark lord Morgoth.
The Edain are divided into three main houses: the House of Bëor, the House of Haleth, and the House of Hador. Each house has its own unique characteristics and stories. The Edain eventually became known as the ancestors of the Dúnedain, who are prominent in The Lord of the Rings.
