Ed Greenwood
Ed Greenwood is a Canadian author and game designer best known for creating the Forgotten Realms, a popular campaign setting for the Dungeons & Dragons role-playing game. He began developing this fantasy world in the 1960s and published his first Forgotten Realms novel, "Spellfire," in 1987.
In addition to his work on the Forgotten Realms, Greenwood has written numerous novels, short stories, and game supplements. He has contributed to various other fantasy settings and has been involved in the gaming industry for decades, influencing both tabletop and video game design.
