Eastern Prussia
Eastern Prussia was a historical region located in northeastern Europe, primarily within present-day Poland and Russia. It was once part of the Kingdom of Prussia and was known for its diverse culture and significant agricultural output. The region's largest city was Königsberg, which served as an important cultural and political center.
After World War II, Eastern Prussia was divided between Poland and the Soviet Union, leading to significant demographic changes. The area was largely depopulated of its German inhabitants, and many Polish settlers moved in. Today, remnants of its history can still be seen in the architecture and cultural influences present in the region.
