Eastern Partnership
The Eastern Partnership is a diplomatic initiative launched by the European Union in 2009. It aims to strengthen political and economic ties between the EU and six Eastern European countries: Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Moldova, and Ukraine. The partnership focuses on promoting democracy, human rights, and sustainable development in these nations.
Through various programs and agreements, the Eastern Partnership seeks to enhance trade relations, improve governance, and support reforms in the participating countries. It also encourages regional cooperation and aims to foster stability and security in the region, benefiting both the EU and its Eastern neighbors.
