Eastern Green Mamba
The Eastern Green Mamba is a highly venomous snake native to the coastal regions of East Africa. It is known for its vibrant green color, which helps it blend into the foliage of its habitat. Typically, it can grow up to 2.5 meters (8 feet) in length and is primarily arboreal, spending much of its time in trees.
This snake is shy and prefers to avoid human contact. Its diet mainly consists of small mammals and birds. The venom of the Eastern Green Mamba is potent, affecting the nervous system, but bites are rare due to its reclusive nature.
