Earl Of Snowdon
The Earl of Snowdon is a title in the British peerage, created in 1961 for Antony Armstrong-Jones, a photographer and filmmaker. He was the first person to hold this title and was known for his marriage to Princess Margaret, the younger sister of Queen Elizabeth II. The title is associated with the region of Snowdonia in Wales.
After their divorce in 1978, the title was retained by Armstrong-Jones until his death in 2017. The current holder of the title is David Armstrong-Jones, the son of Antony, who is also known for his work in the arts and design. The title remains a part of the British aristocracy.
