EOD teams
EOD teams, or Explosive Ordnance Disposal teams, are specialized units trained to identify, disarm, and dispose of explosive devices. Their primary mission is to ensure public safety by neutralizing threats from unexploded ordnance, improvised explosive devices (IEDs), and other explosive hazards. These teams often work in military, law enforcement, and civilian contexts.
Members of EOD teams undergo rigorous training to handle various types of explosives safely. They use specialized equipment, such as bomb suits and robots, to assess and manage dangerous situations. EOD teams play a crucial role in protecting lives and property from the risks posed by explosives.
