E. H. Shepard
E. H. Shepard was a British illustrator best known for his work in children's literature. Born on December 30, 1879, he gained fame for illustrating the beloved Winnie-the-Pooh stories written by A. A. Milne. His charming and whimsical drawings brought the characters to life and have become iconic in their own right.
In addition to Winnie-the-Pooh, Shepard illustrated other notable works, including The Wind in the Willows by Kenneth Grahame.
