Dyatlov Pass
The Dyatlov Pass incident refers to the mysterious deaths of nine experienced hikers in the Ural Mountains of Russia in February 1959. The group, led by Igor Dyatlov, set out for a skiing expedition but never returned. Search parties later found their abandoned tent, which had been cut open from the inside, and the hikers' bodies scattered nearby, some with strange injuries.
Investigations revealed that some of the hikers had died from hypothermia, while others had severe trauma, including one with a missing tongue and another with a fractured skull. The unusual circumstances surrounding their deaths have led to various theories, including avalanches, animal attacks, and even paranormal activity.
