Dwarves of Durin's Folk
The Dwarves of Durin's Folk, also known as the Longbeards, are one of the most prominent clans of Dwarves in Middle-earth. They are descendants of Durin the Deathless, the first Dwarf, and are known for their exceptional skills in mining, metalwork, and craftsmanship. Their ancestral home is the great underground city of Khazad-dûm, later known as Moria, located beneath the Misty Mountains.
Durin's Folk played a significant role in the events of The Hobbit and The Lord of the Rings. They are characterized by their long beards, sturdy builds, and a strong sense of loyalty and honor. The clan's most famous member is Thorin Oakenshield, who led a quest to reclaim their homeland from the dragon Smaug.
