Dutch National Socialist Movement
The Dutch National Socialist Movement, known as the NSB, was a political party in the Netherlands founded in 1931. It aimed to promote National Socialism and was heavily influenced by the ideology of the Nazi Party in Germany. The NSB gained some support during the 1930s, particularly among those who were disillusioned with the existing political landscape.
During World War II, the NSB collaborated with the German occupiers, which led to its unpopularity after the war. Following the liberation of the Netherlands in 1945, the party was banned, and many of its members faced prosecution for their collaboration with the Nazis.
