Duke John Albert
Duke John Albert, also known as John Albert of Poland, was a notable figure in the late 15th and early 16th centuries. Born in 1459, he was the son of Casimir IV Jagiellon, the King of Poland. John Albert became the Duke of Prussia and played a significant role in the political landscape of the region during his reign.
He was known for his efforts to strengthen the ties between Prussia and the Polish Crown. His leadership was marked by attempts to navigate the complexities of regional politics, including conflicts with the Teutonic Knights.
