Duke Henry VIII of Mecklenburg
Duke Henry VIII of Mecklenburg was a German nobleman born in 1479. He belonged to the House of Mecklenburg and ruled as Duke of Mecklenburg-Schwerin from 1503 until his death in 1552. His reign was marked by efforts to strengthen the duchy and promote trade and agriculture.
