Ducklings
Ducklings are the young offspring of ducks, typically hatching from eggs after about 28 days of incubation. They are covered in soft, downy feathers that are usually yellow or brown, helping them blend into their natural surroundings. Ducklings are known for their adorable waddling and their ability to swim almost immediately after hatching.
These small birds are often seen following their mother, known as a hen, in a line. Ducklings are social animals and learn important survival skills from their parents, such as foraging for food and avoiding predators. They primarily eat aquatic plants, insects, and small invertebrates.
