DubaiSat
DubaiSat is a series of Earth observation satellites developed by the United Arab Emirates to enhance the country's capabilities in satellite technology and remote sensing. The first satellite, DubaiSat-1, was launched in 2009, followed by DubaiSat-2 in 2013. These satellites are designed to capture high-resolution images of the Earth's surface, which can be used for urban planning, environmental monitoring, and disaster management.
The DubaiSat program is part of the broader efforts by the UAE to advance its space exploration initiatives. The satellites are operated by the Mohammed Bin Rashid Space Centre, which aims to foster innovation and research in space technology.
