Duane Allman
Duane Allman was an influential American guitarist and a founding member of the rock band The Allman Brothers Band. Born on November 20, 1946, in Nashville, Tennessee, he became known for his exceptional slide guitar technique and improvisational skills. His work helped shape the sound of Southern rock and blues.
Allman played a significant role in the band's success with albums like At Fillmore East and Eat a Peach. Tragically, he died in a motorcycle accident on October 29, 1971, at the age of 24, but his legacy continues to inspire musicians around the world.
