Drying Techniques
Drying techniques are methods used to remove moisture from various materials, such as food, herbs, and textiles. Common techniques include air drying, where items are left in a well-ventilated area, and sun drying, which utilizes sunlight to evaporate moisture. Other methods include using a dehydrator, which circulates warm air, and oven drying, where low heat is applied to speed up the process.
Another popular technique is freeze-drying, which involves freezing the material and then reducing the pressure to allow moisture to sublimate. Each method has its advantages and is chosen based on the type of material and desired shelf life.
