Dry Cleaning
Dry cleaning is a cleaning process for clothing and textiles that uses chemical solvents instead of water. This method is effective for removing stains and dirt from delicate fabrics that may be damaged by traditional washing. The most common solvent used in dry cleaning is perchloroethylene, often referred to as "perc."
During the dry cleaning process, garments are placed in a machine that resembles a washing machine. The machine gently agitates the clothes while the solvent circulates, dissolving stains and dirt. After cleaning, the clothes are dried and pressed, making them ready for wear without the risk of shrinking or fading.
