Drake Well
Drake Well is a historic oil well located in Titusville, Pennsylvania. It was drilled by Edwin Drake in 1859 and is often credited with marking the beginning of the modern petroleum industry. The well reached a depth of 69.5 feet and struck oil, leading to a significant oil boom in the region.
