Doxology
A doxology is a short hymn or expression of praise to God, often used in Christian worship. It typically concludes a prayer or a service, emphasizing the glory and majesty of God. The most well-known doxology is the one attributed to King David in the Bible, which praises God's eternal nature.
Doxologies can vary in form and length, but they generally focus on glorifying the Trinity: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. They are commonly found in liturgical settings, such as church services, and serve to unite congregations in worship and reverence.
