Dowsing Rod
A dowsing rod is a tool traditionally used for locating underground water, minerals, or other hidden objects. Typically made from a Y-shaped branch or two straight rods, dowsers hold the rods and walk over an area, observing movements that are believed to indicate the presence of the sought-after resource.
The practice of dowsing, also known as water witching, has been used for centuries across various cultures. While some people believe in its effectiveness, scientific studies have generally found no evidence supporting the claims of dowsing, categorizing it as a pseudoscience.
