Douglas Hurley
Douglas Hurley is a retired NASA astronaut and a former Marine Corps officer. He was born on October 21, 1966, in Endicott, New York. Hurley flew on three spaceflights, including the final mission of the Space Shuttle program, STS-135, in July 2011.
In addition to his work as an astronaut, Hurley has served as a test pilot and has been involved in various aerospace projects. He played a significant role in the development of the Orion spacecraft and participated in the Crew Dragon missions, marking a new era in human spaceflight.
