Doug Wright
Doug Wright is an American playwright, screenwriter, and director known for his work in theater and film. He gained significant recognition for his play I Am My Own Wife, which won the Pulitzer Prize for Drama in 2004. The play tells the true story of Charlotte von Mahlsdorf, a transgender woman who survived the Nazi regime in Germany.
