Double Features
A "Double Feature" is a film exhibition format where two movies are shown back-to-back for the price of one ticket. This practice became popular in the mid-20th century, allowing theaters to attract larger audiences by offering more entertainment in a single visit.
Typically, the two films may be related by genre, theme, or even feature the same actors. For example, a theater might showcase a classic horror movie followed by a recent thriller. This format provides viewers with a more extended cinematic experience and encourages them to discover new films they might not have chosen otherwise.
