Dorothy Pitman Hughes
Dorothy Pitman Hughes was an influential American activist, speaker, and author, born on October 2, 1938. She is best known for her work in the feminist movement and her advocacy for civil rights. Hughes co-founded the Black Women's Agenda and was a prominent figure in the women's liberation movement during the 1960s and 1970s.
