Donn F. Eisele
Donn F. Eisele was an American astronaut and a veteran of the NASA space program. Born on June 23, 1930, in Columbus, Ohio, he served as a pilot in the U.S. Air Force before joining NASA in 1963. Eisele flew on the Apollo 7 mission in 1968, which was the first crewed flight of the Apollo program.
In addition to his work as an astronaut, Eisele was also an accomplished test pilot and engineer. He participated in various space missions and contributed to the development of space technology. Eisele passed away on December 2, 2021, leaving a legacy in the field of space exploration.
