Donald Ramotar
Donald Ramotar is a Guyanese politician who served as the President of Guyana from 2011 to 2015. He is a member of the People's Progressive Party (PPP) and became president after winning the elections held in November 2011. Ramotar succeeded Bharrat Jagdeo, who had served two terms as president.
During his presidency, Ramotar focused on economic development and social programs. His administration faced challenges, including political opposition and issues related to governance. After losing the 2015 elections to David Granger of the People's National Congress, Ramotar stepped down, marking the end of his term in office.
