Dominicus
Dominicus, also known as Saint Dominic, was a Spanish priest and the founder of the Order of Preachers, commonly known as the Dominicans. He was born in 1170 in Caleruega, Spain, and is celebrated for his commitment to preaching and education. His work focused on combating heresy and promoting the Catholic faith through teaching and community living.
Saint Dominic is often depicted with a dog carrying a torch, symbolizing his mission to spread the light of truth.
