Dolphin Fins
Dolphin fins are the unique, wing-like structures on the backs of dolphins that help them swim efficiently. These fins, known as dorsal fins, play a crucial role in stabilizing the dolphin as it moves through the water. The shape and size of a dolphin's fin can vary depending on the species, but they are generally tall and triangular, making them easily recognizable.
In addition to dorsal fins, dolphins also have pectoral fins on the sides of their bodies. These smaller fins help with steering and maneuvering, allowing dolphins to make quick turns and changes in direction. Together, the dorsal fins and pectoral fins enable dolphins to be agile and graceful swimmers in their ocean habitats.
