Doc Holliday was a famous American gambler, dentist, and gunfighter in the late 19th century. Born on August 14, 1851, in Georgia, he became well-known for his involvement in the Wild West and his friendship with lawman Wyatt Earp. Holliday was a skilled poker player and often found himself in high-stakes games.
Holliday is best remembered for his role in the Gunfight at the O.K. Corral in 1881, where he fought alongside Earp against the Cowboys, a group of outlaws. Despite his reputation as a gunslinger, he was also a man of culture, having studied dentistry before turning to gambling and a life of adventure. He died of tuberculosis on November 8, 1887.
