Doak Walker
Doak Walker was an American football player born on January 1, 1927, in Dallas, Texas. He played college football at Southern Methodist University (SMU) and became a standout halfback. Walker was known for his exceptional running skills, versatility, and ability to score touchdowns. He won the prestigious Heisman Trophy in 1948, recognizing him as the best player in college football.
