Districts of Moscow
Moscow is divided into 12 administrative districts, each with its own unique characteristics and governance. These districts include Central, Northern, Southern, Western, Eastern, Northeastern, Southeastern, Southwestern, Zelenograd, Novomoskovsky, Troitsky, and Krymsky. Each district is further subdivided into smaller neighborhoods, providing a diverse urban landscape.
The Central District is known for its historical significance and landmarks, such as the Kremlin and Red Square. In contrast, districts like Zelenograd are more modern and focus on technology and innovation. This division helps manage the city's vast population and resources effectively.
