Disk Imaging
Disk Imaging is the process of creating a complete copy of a computer's hard drive or storage device. This copy, known as an image, captures all the data, including the operating system, applications, and files. Disk imaging is useful for backups, system recovery, and transferring data to a new device.
The image file can be stored on another drive or cloud service, allowing users to restore their system to a previous state if needed. Various software tools, such as Clonezilla and Acronis True Image, are available to facilitate the disk imaging process, making it accessible for both individuals and businesses.
