Dinosaur Age
The "Dinosaur Age," also known as the Mesozoic Era, lasted from about 252 to 66 million years ago. This era is divided into three periods: Triassic, Jurassic, and Cretaceous. During this time, dinosaurs became the dominant land animals, evolving into various species, including the massive Tyrannosaurus rex and the long-necked Brachiosaurus.
The Mesozoic Era also saw the emergence of other reptiles, birds, and early mammals. The climate was generally warm, with lush vegetation supporting diverse ecosystems. The era ended with a mass extinction event, likely caused by an asteroid impact, which led to the extinction of most dinosaur species.
